The Delcast R1K-A Solder Reel Kit includes a 1 KG spool of 0.6 mm diameter rosin core solder. The reel positions the spool in an upright position, allowing the wire to neatly unwind as solder is drawn.
The included solder is comprised of a eutectic ratio of 63% tin to 37% lead. It has the lowest melting point of any other tin lead solder and a lower melting point than either of the two parts by themselves. The low melting point is beneficial for electronics soldering where the PCB can be damaged by exposure to excessive heat.
